1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on the next visit. Similar technologies (such as local storage, tracking pixels or third-party scripts) can collect or store information on the device. They are divided into technical cookies, which are necessary for the website to work or to provide a service requested by the user, and profiling/marketing cookies, which track the user for advertising or behavioural analysis purposes and require prior consent.

2. Cookies used by this website

This website does not install profiling cookies, does not use statistical analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and does not host advertising pixels, social widgets or third-party share buttons.

At present, simply browsing the pages does not install any cookies on your device. For this reason the website does not display a cookie consent banner: no consent is required because no tools that would require it are used.

Should technical cookies be introduced in the future (for example a session cookie to handle a form submission or remember a preference), they would in any case fall among those exempt from consent pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. The introduction of any cookies requiring consent will be preceded by the publication of an appropriate banner and an update to this page.

3. Third-party tools that involve external connections

Although it does not use third-party cookies, the website loads some resources from external servers. Loading these resources necessarily involves sending the user's IP address to the provider, which may use it for technical and security purposes in accordance with its own policies.

Legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest in ensuring a consistent graphic and typographic rendering of the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). For the transfer of data to the United States, see section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

4. How to manage cookies from your browser

Even though this website does not install any, you can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies and restrict requests to third-party domains. Below are the official instructions for the most popular browsers:

Disabling technical cookies may affect the correct functioning of some sections of the website.

5. Data controller

To exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR and for any information on the processing of personal data, see the Privacy Policy.

6. Updates

This Cookie Policy may be amended over time, including in connection with the introduction of new tools or regulatory changes. Any changes will be published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
